I shot a still life focusing on my scouting uniform and the story it tells. This project took several weeks of planning, from getting the necessary materials to sketching arrangements of the items. I used one light from the side, as I wanted hard lighting that would emphasize angles and shadows. This lighting style matched the seriousness that the scouting uniform conveys, and the pride and honor I feel whenever I don these pieces. My close up shots were intended to invoke a sense of curiosity and pride through the pins and patches I have earned over the years.
