Full deliverables for the Short-Term ID Project
This was a project to create a short-term identity for a chosen event. I chose to rebrand Hinckley, Ohio's Buzzard Day. This involved creating a recognizable mark, a promotional poster, mockup website pages, packaging, and merchandise. The poster was by far my most difficult piece because I initially struggled with size contrast and dynamism. Once I overcame that hurdle, everything else fell into place as I worked to maintain the identity while making each piece unique.

Early logo sketches. Includes both image and type-dominant marks.

Final mark to begin my event's identity.

My poster was the most difficult item to create, with numerous sketches as seen above. I switched my visual imagery halfway through, which was a good decision for my creative process.

Unused iterations for my poster.

Final poster result.

My website sketches were less challenging, and they were easy to create once I figured out my poster. I considered several different layouts and ideas, but went with the one that best fit my identity.

The first digital iterations of my website, made with InDesign.

Final mockup website pages.

Sketches for my packaging. This took very few iterations, but was challenging to produce.

Front and back of the envelope.
